The Tullamore & District Chamber Awards takes place in April this year and recognises the importance of business excellence across various sectors in the region.

The organisers have devised appropriately named awards to reward the individuals behind business success across with 15 awards being awarded. The business community and public are invited to nominate potential recipients through a simple online process. Nominations are received and stored in an online system for review by the judging panel which can be done in committee, online or combination of both. With a transparent auditable scoring process the system ensures fairness and transparency is adhered to at every stage. Following the initial scoring process nominations are shortlisted and announced online and typically is arranged around a high profile annual event which also is an opportunity to raise money through selling tickets for a dinner / celebration awards event. Tickets can also be purchased though the self contained software platform allowing the award team manage access to the event by scanning ticket QR codes through a mobile phone. ticket options can include dietary requirements etc.
