SuperShow Goes Stateside
World's most prestigious wildfowl carving and art competition
SuperShow have launched their event platform software in the USA with their first stateside users embracing ARD technology to manage their website and world championship event, the Ward World Championships.
The 2026 World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition and Art Festival takes place in Ocean City from Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th April 2026 in the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, Ocean City, Maryland.
The Ward World Championships are the most prestigious of their kind attracting carvers, collectors and visitors with over 1200 wildfowl carvings representing 150 species from around the world.The competition includes over 40 sections competing for a $60,000 prize fund, ribbons, medallions, plaques and trophies. Divisions include decorative life-size and miniature wildfowl, floating waterfowl, interpretive, gunning decoys, contemporary antiques, and sculpture and artists from as far away as the Unite Kingdom, France and Japan take part each year.
The ARD team worked with the Ward Foundation to streamline the championship administration using their 30 years of experience and award winning software.
From artist registration, entry submission, scoring criteria, judging, results, trophies and prize money payouts - the SuperShow platform simplifies the event process, automatically tracking entries through a transparent judging system ensuring winner selection integrity of the championships.
